Mid-Upper Level Tank mates

Looking for some recommendations for some mid to upper level swimming tank mates to add to my tank. I have a few Black Rays and a couple Cat who occupies the bottom, the Red Aro who does top so looking to mid in between. I've had Pbass but didn't really like them....and want something that would mix well with those who are already in the tank.

Suggestions?

well..it can't be just another aro, would likely have to be at least another 5-6 before they will kill each other

As for Dat's I've always had back luck with them always hidding at the bottoms....

Nice dimensions. These fish would all do well in that tank:
distichodus
flagtail prochilodus
datnoids
gars (tropical, Florida, spotted, cuban, whatever you prefer)
large redhooks
Severums
Clown knife fish
uaru cichlids
silver aro (if you could find one that isn't aggressive)
