Are midas normally glass bangers? I always hear of red devils being like that. But my new midas is a serious beast. I'll take a vid soon.

From my understanding most amphs are glass bangers and ime red devil,Midas, or Midevil will glass bang

They are called tankbusters................Some get to sizes that break glass................Be careful..............I prefer p[lexi.............
 
100% normal behavior here. As Mike said above, all of your Amphilophus are going to be aggressive/interactive. In addition, assume your fish isn't pure Midas (unless it came from a highly reputable source). Odds are it's your run of the mill MiDevil. Very cool fish!

Your Midas is actually meaner and more aggressive than a everyday Midas.. He's crazy. I think hes cool.
 
haha damn he is super mean. he looks a lot like my midevil. but mine only gets like that around the water siphon and towel haha.
 
I felt she was a bit mean. I had a midas way back and she was super sweet. No Agression to me or other fish. I love the attitude.
