I was just wondering, what is the difference between a midas and a red devil. All I know, is red devil's have thicker lips? but is there more than just that?

Best to show in actually Video so you can see them both and determin the Physical Traits.
Red Devil = More of a slender Build, Max size 12", Larger lips and longer snout.
Midas = Taller, Stalkier build, rounded snout, and max size of 14".

True, this is why it is best to get Amphilophus from TangledUpInCichlids.com, Fishfarm, and others. All my Midas came from Jeff Rapps. Most LFS's like the big chains sell the hybrids of the two and will label them one way or another to sell the most they can. Its all marketing. If you want pure Amphilophus, go with guys who can prove their stock.
