As everyone knows I have 2 Tanks of Midas. One F2 grow out and the other tank with the F1 Parents and a never ending supply of fry, lol.
Well, I have moved the 125g with my growout back inside. Since he was out in the garage I had 2 tiger barbs come into my posession. He ignored them and it was nice to also have schooling fish in with him. Since then I have saved 3 Tiger barbs from Walmart that were near death, but now thriving. Also grabbed 7 each of the Green and Gold/Albino Tigers from Petco. Always thought it would be cool to have a school of the 3 types. Black sand and black background really brings out their colors, not to mention the bright green Algae that grows due to the lighting. Jr Still ignores them and spends most of the day eating and flaring up at my wife's pomeranian as it passes by or jumps at the tank.
Only 3 of my Tigers are full size, but it should be cool when they are all full size. I'll take a Video when they have fattened up abit.
Also, before I forget...
Note: Tiger Barbs are not always good dithers due to their smaller size for large cichlid tanks. That especially includes predatory cichlids like Dovii as a past post reflected. lol
I just happen to have a layed back Midas unlike his Parents that won't allow anything in their tank but fry.
