Is it better to have two females and one male or one male and one female? Fish are about 6inches each in a 125g.

What will happen to the aggression between the two females? I have two beautiful females and I had to separate them, I would love to add a male but I'm scared the females will tear each other apart if I let then loose. Will the male prevent this( I understand that all fish have different temperaments but normally this will work)?

Put male in between two female using divider..then monitor which female the male interested to. Let loose the female he interested to..n observe..
