I've been visiting your forum for awhile for the great information but now need a little more. I have a six year old Midas that has developed what appears to be a pimple in his tail fin. He was just moved to a new 125 gallon tank last Tuesday and is the only resident. Filtration canisters came from his old tank and we seem to be ok in the cycle. I have read up on anchor worm but do not think that is the problem. Water parameters= 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate. 78deg temp. He doesn't show any change in his behavior and I'm really at a loss here. I do not like chemicals in my tank but did dose with aquarium salt when I noticed it.
