For all the owners on here who have owned a Large Midas w/ a nice sized Nuchal Hump: when does the hump start developing, another words, when along the line do you know if they will or will not have a nuchal hump as an adult?
I agree with that, but conditions can modify it. A subdominant fish in a community of larger fish won't likely show much. Also, all environmental issues have to be just right -- good food, clean water, the right mix of fish (you want the Midas to gain some sense of dominance), etc.
