Midas growth rate ?

I really want to add a 2" midas to my 75 gallon chichlid tank 2 small convicts and 2 severums.

midas cichlids grow fast,depends on how you feed,water quality but in general grow pretty fast.

Yep exactly. Good news is he gets big and will pass the others! Bad news is he usually out grows the other in the tank and then you gotta worry (usually) about him beating on the others. Make lots of territories/hiding for them all!

fast. Takes them a while to reach 2" but between 2-7" their growth is usually about 1" per month. After that it slows dramatically.

The midas will kill your severums and cons for sure. Even of a smaller size, a midas can overtake larger sevs and cons.

The midas will probably terrorize and maybe kill the cons and sevs while he is small, but he will soon be bigger than them and then it's pretty doubtful he will let them live in 'his' tank.
