Midas "hump" Regeneration

I acquired this F1 male Midas from Ruck Fules a few months back. It was a fry from his WC Jeff Rapps pair from 10+ years ago. When I receive it, it had a decent size hump and since its been here, its been bounced around from tank to tank as I've reorganized my fish room. It's finally in it's semi-permanent home in a 150 gallon tank. I took a couple pictures yesterday after the move and will attempt to keep a log to see if it'll return to it's glory days of a huge knob on its head.

Soon thereafter I placed a mirror on the outside of the tank.... Him posturing up.

This is him 24 hours later.... Hump is making a slight comeback.
