Im gonna take the second picture as a Midas because that's what a good Midas baby looks like.

Lets not start the love for the fish by assuming it's not a Midas. It's sold as a Midas. Everything is fine until it ever shows that it isn't.

As far as it being an Amphilophus citrinellus (Midas) there is no way for me to know for sure. I can say with a safe amount of certainty it is an Amphilophus sp. of some type. Wheather pure or not is impossibile to say from a picture. Where did you get it?

Petsmart, the only concern I have is that it has a red eye. I have never seen a Midas with a red eye.

Aye. Well you do gotta assume that there's a high chance it's a Midevil, but nonetheless there's no reason to say that it is definitely not a Midas, because it could very damn well be a pure Midas.
