Just picked this guy up, the pet shop where I got it from sold it to my as a Rose Queen, looks like a Midas to me, either way he/she looked like a keeper! let me know what u think? R/Q or Midas????

Ehh is right even if it is a midas then it is more likely a midas red devil cross. No matter what it is still a nice fish.
Thx again, like I said either way I'm happy with him, the pictures don't really do it any justice, He's a brute! I have him in my 75gl, He's about 6inch & he runs the tank!
yeah wait till he settles and adapt for a month. I recommend some wood in the tank for tannin. Because the rocks and gravels can raise the ph. Wood tannin can lower it and also mimics one aspect of natural wild water.
I actually did a water change yesterday, removed a large rock & added a piece of drift wood back into the tank, only other thing I wanna add is some live plants!
