my 12 inch midas jumped out today found him probly 20 minutes or so after pretty dried up got him in the tank was dead for 10 minutes but i refused to giveup on reviving him after 30 minutes of holding him upright with a airstone beneath his gills and slowly moving him back and forth he slowly came back to life hes swimming normally now but ocassionly sits at the bottom of the tank (upright) not sideways or anything he also has a cloudy eye from being on the carpet , it wasabout a 4 foot drop to the ground will he be okay? how do i help out his eye?

well i came home and he had passed away

i also didnt mention he is inreplacible as he didnt kill bit size fish the lfs had him in with 2 inch JD's and i had him in with a one inch pbass and a one inch jaguar
i want to lie and say yes but i wont i didnt have a lid on at the time and im going to lose sleep over it.

On a side note maybe its time for a lid. You can get 1 for a few dollars from a glass workshop. Just have them custom cut the glass to your specifications.
