My 11in Midas has its lips extended outwards and its been stuck there for so long. I believe he got it dislocated due to lip locking with other fish, but i really want to put it back in the right spot. He's a beautiful albino midas with a potential kok. Any advice? Thanks!

If caught early on dislocated jaws can sometimes be popped back into place. At this point, very doubtful that it's ever going to be normal again.

It could be something called "ducklips" (hope not!) It's an infection inside the mouth area and as swelling takes place, the lips protrude. The fish can not close its mouth or breathe normally. It's very difficult to treat successfully and if too far advanced will most likely result in death. I've used kanamycin and Furan-2 with some success. You will find lots of reference to this malady in Flowerhorn Forums.
From MFK's duanes:
This, is duck lips, Flexibactor columnaris. The fish cannot eat and becomes more and more lathargic.
Note how the normally flexible connective tissue extends the lip from the head.

I've had Petenia get their jaws dislocated into this position, and was able to massage the jaw back to a normal position.
Columnaris is an entirely different ball game, a bacterial infection (as stated above) most virulent at temps above 84'F,

been hearing a lot about ducklips lately.....:(
