Midas or red devil ?

Here's a vid of my new midas (I think !).

He's a great character whatever he is. I'm thinking midas due to his smallish lips and his general bodyshape, which is rather deep and chunky. What do you experts think ?

Without knowing the lineage of the fish a definate determination is diffacult at best. However judging from the size and appearance it looks Midas/Devil cross.

seriously, unless you know where the fish came from there is no way to know for sure. you can speculate and guess all you want and you may be able to see some characteristics of one or the other but you will never know for sure. in those cases just call it a Midevil

if there's even a question to whether its one of the two its most likely going to be a mix...
