Midas Question !

are Midas' still owner responsive even when there paired ?? or only single Males are owner responsive ? also can a female Midas be owner responsive if kept by her self or are males better to be kept alone?

I think that it depends on what your idea of owner responsive means. A single fish male or female will respond when its feeding time. But a pair in breeding mode will respond as well trying to drive you away from there fry. I have been attacked several times while cleaning the tank by defending parents as well as a single fish just being curious as to whats going on .
