midas question

Looked my midas over last night noticed he's or she don't know which is getting black spots on its tail and fins figured its about to peel. Went to bed woke up this morning and my midas has transformed. Under its chin all the way back to behind its gills it's like some one stretched its skin and it just hangs. Is this normal and if so what would you call it. Thanks

Are you saying the skin is actually coming off?

No nothing like that its like hanging flab. I've seen all kids of pics of red devils and midas with like flab under there jaws. Just blowed me away to see such a transformation over nite.I bought this fish 2 weeks ago and this thing has grown 2 inch since then.it's. Crazy. Lol

Oh I think I understand now its just bulking up as it grows
