Midas/red devil peeling

Hi

My red devil body is peeling,like shedding especially around the face area. Is it normal or is this a problem. It looks whitish. Is it losing scales or is it colour changing. Please help. How do I upload a pic from my ipad

if it is physically shedding stuff like its slime coat then there may be an issue with your water, did you do a water change recently? or do something that could cause a pH swing? if its just the color then that is normal and their color peels as they grow to their adult coloration

red devils "peel" they undergo a color change from a dull base color to a shade of orange. does he look blotchy?

he is probably just fading which is completely normal... will know for sure when the pic is posted

Looks like it's just fading ( changing colors) to me.
