Midas rejecting Hikari gold pellets

so my rapidly growing midas has been eating a mixture of hikari gold, chingmix, tetra granules, bloodworms, brine schrimp for a month now. but for some reason last night and this morning, he started to reject hikari pellets and would eat everything else.

what do you think is going on? i find it strange since he seemed to like hikari best.

IME, they tend to change taste after awhile. Also, I recommend either feeding him lettuce torn to appropriate size, peas, and algae wafers too.

Mine at 3.75" hates Hikari bio-gold: he has to be real hungry to eat it. But he loves Omega One. They are funny with what they like and dislike!
