I heard that Midas' were diggers which is cool.. The terrain of the aquarium seems to shift every couple of days which is fine too. I have noticed though that he's doing the whole shimmy thing. Kind of like how my female Texas was when she placed her breeding mask on with my FH.

He's the only fish in the tank, so is this whole breeding like behavior for a 2 year old male Midas typical?

as big or bigger than him, and have another tank on deck or a divider incase he is like my male and kills his mates

Wow I'm surprised she's not accidentally inhaling them...lol.My poor red zebra I got him four females when he showed signs of wanting a mate and none of them will give him the time of day.I give him credit he tries 24 hours a day,7 days a week.No loving for him : (
