Eggs will usually hatch in 3-4 days if the eggs are fertilized. Not much you have to do, just keep the parents fed and they'll usually do their own things. Sometimes first time parents will egg their own eggs and fry but they grow out of it

So freaking true! Short story.... Separated my Mota fry from parents, lost a bunch of them due to them eating eachother! Accidentally left a few in with the parents unknowingly..... the ones in with the parents are LARGER than the ones that were pulled out and fed b.b. shrimp!
Get ready to have a lot of fry! I've had Midas spawns before..... pretty cool to see all those fry swimming around! Congrats.
