I could quite literally sit in front of this tank for months on end...if someone would bring me food from time to time. lol

Pardon the poor quality pics, they were taken with my blackberry. I need to get a new, quality digi cam.

OH there's also one pic of a gorgeous synspilum. :)

If you see these guys in person, it really makes you realize that even a 75 gallon is too small for a pure midas (assuming these are pure midas...no clue where they came from). I'd love to get ahold of one of the larger males to put in my 125 just to get a perspective because to be honest I'm not sure a 125 would really be adequate for some of the brutes in that tank.

The male in the 1st, 2nd and 5th pics as well as the white male centered in the 3rd pic were 2 of the largest. Just guessing I would estimate they were easily 14" SL. I really should have made my friend pose in front of the tank just to be able to get a little bit of perspective. That was my bad. lol

Wow!

I want to see more! Lol.

Imagine the cost of feeding a tank like that with premium foods.. Man..

I'm blown away by this tank!

Love it, thanks for sharing!

The cost isn't that bad when you consider the fact that they would be buying at wholesale prices. I happen to supply food to a public aquarium where they have a 10,000 gallon midas/red devil tank. :)

Oh wow!!! Ill bring the beer:headbang2 lol thats awesome. too bad there isnt a TIVO for fish rooms:ROFL: then you wouldnt miss any action.

Ah, thought it was a private aquarium

Still more costly than the average tank out there, i assume :D

The most beautiful thing about that display is that nobody has torn fins, missing scales, or other signs of fighting. I'm sure there's some mild sparring between males, but that's really the way to do it for large CAs. I so wish every Midas could be in a huge display like that. It makes me feel bad for all the ones in 55g and 75g, like you said.

wow jaw dropping nice tank and fish :D !!!

Wow, that is spectacular...just beautiful.

By the way...you get better pics on your blackberry than most people do on their fancy digi cams :p.
