answer me this ? why do people say a midas and a citrinellum are two different fish when its the same fish midas being the nickname and citrinellum or citrinellus being the scientific name ppl are so illiterate

Never heard this happening before...... Unless you are talking about Midevil which is a different fish.
it is several ppl here in new orleans that are saying it when i talk about my fish it is so crazy to me when i know better that they are the same fish to better explain they say citrinellum has a dent lol funny in between the eye and they only come in gold meaning gold race "yellow" hahaha and midas without the dent coming in orange white creamsicle and what ever color one of the other dudes said a red devil and a labiatus are different saying red has thin lips and lab has big lips im dealing with idiots down here i dont even argue with them cause they are ignorant and the say they read it on the internet im dealing with stupid ppl down here i have never in all the years dealing with these fish have i ever heard such a thing
Those are just local idiots, pay no attention to what they say. Every place has people who think they know what they are talking about but in reality have no clue.
