The Real Norcal
These two used to be fine together for almost two months, then I added a few fish and these two didn't care about the new fish but for some reason decided they hated each others guts.

I have tried taking out each one to live in the sump for a few days and then redecorating and trying again but it doesn't look promising.

The pike was the original aggressor so I removed him and put him in the sump for 4-5 days.I redecorated and tried to put him in again and he went right back to attacking the Midas.I tried the same thing again with pretty much the same results (which is when I took these pics for the heck of it).

I tried one more time and this time the midas won but after winning decided the pike needed to leave and so continued to beat on him so I removed the Midas and gave him the sump treatment.

Now everybody is together again but the Midas picks on the pike quite a bit and I will have to remove them permanently if he does not stop.It is strange because the pike can whoop the midas but since his mouth is so big he fits the midas whole face inside it, but the Midas is more aggressive and will not let getting owned slow him down.... in fact each battle he loses seems to make him more aggressive.

nice pix.
sorry its happening though. id move them both outta the tank before real damage is done.

Some fish will never get along again once they have become enemies. Best to separate them for good.

lol theres always that one fish in the tank near a fight moving back and forth real fast like "go get em' get em...get em...go for the lip..yah!"
