Middevil tank

Finally rigged up my 75g(roughly-it's about 50cm wide and 45cm tall and 120cm long) for the middevil.He loves the space and is much more interactive.His colours have really popped infront of the black background.Don't mind the floating piece of driftwood lol ,it just won't sink.
Filtration- Diy overhead sump made from a plastic planter box.
Light - cheap 60cm aquarium light ,it provides just enough light for me to see him and the tank gets natural light so it doesn't exactly need a strong light.
It looks pretty cloudy because of the sand I added today,I guess it needed more rinsing.

Edit : Put in plastic baffle later on to separate the mechanical filtration from the biological filtration.The output was supposed to be the 2 holes on the left but I found it easer to use an overflow type output.Made sure the water level was below the holes.

Thanks .He's about 8.5".

I would give him a hide of some sort, be it rocks or a planter etc. Even my big guy likes to hide out at times.

I do have some big driftwood I was gonna use ,but it still floats and leeches out tannins.I'll make sure to get something he can use as a hide the next time I go to my lfs .He's a beauty!Is he your sagittae?

I recently changed up his rocks, but he can still hide

Update- got rid of the sand,it was far too light and got blown away by the powerhead , in turn making the water cloudy.
