Middle Swimmer Suggestions

I have a 150 standard dimensions. It is a very plain setup with very little decoration. I want to make the tank about the fish, not the decoration.

I have a Black Aro (17") that swims the top, 3 Bichirs (7"-11") that swim the bottom, 1 Dat (7") that swims in the middle of the tank most of the time along with a 5" Flagtail.

I am looking for more mid level swimmers. I like P-Bass a lot, never had any though. Are they mid level swimmers or top? I know they grow fast and big. Any other mid level fish that would fit into my setup? I would love suggestions.
