Crossing back to mom (parrot) will likely be a waste of time cuz male offsprings are not likely to be fertile. You can grow out a female fry and cross back to dad (midas) and hope to produce a fertile male to cross back to mom but I don't see the point...just more orange fish, maybe some short bodies.

ZZ x parrot = kamfas
Carpintas x parrot = red texas

Anything with the parrot will "likely" produce infertile males. These combos have been done by many...have fun with it if you want to give it a go. IMO, lots and lots of junk hybrids will be produced.

i have a few short body's out of this group I have the parrot female with eggs now with carpintis now
