Midevil breeding help

Just recently got a female midevil and decided I would try and breed her with my male. I'm not certain what I should be doing. I've bred stuff like betta, convicts, and other smaller cichlids but never something like a midevil. I set up a divider but then decided to see what happens without one... any advice is helpfull I'm here to listen. Thanks and hope some expert breeders chime in with tips , advice and help
