Midevil going from 75 to 220?

I'm thinking about putting my 5-6 inch midevil in my 220 with a community of other cichlids. The tank is a little overstocked in hopes to keep down the aggression and its somewhat of a grow-out tank until I can find the right deal for a 300+.

Anyway, my hesitations are obvious. He's currently in the 75 with a female FH and 4 african cichlid dithers.

He's definitely a mean one but I've heard that larger tanks will sometimes change the mannerisms of the fish. If anyone has tried something like this in the past, please share your experiences.

What is the stock of your 220?

It's a variety of things from a Jag, Parrot and Oscars to much larger tinfoils, an irridescent shark and an aro.

That might be trouble, since you already say it's a mean one. It never worked in my own 200 gallon.

Of course you might get lucky. You can give it a try and see what happens, but monitor it very closely (not being at work or something) and put the Midas back if it goes wrong.
