I am just curious, will they fade or stress if kept with a light background and substrate? I have a DIY 100 gallon with a re-homed Redas/Midevil.. he's still a bit stressed after a day. the tank was sealed with a light sand/grey colored epoxy.

Here is mine. Light colored substrate with a dark background. Color hasn't changed a bit..

Thanks for the replies. I know that some fish don't do well with dark or light backgrounds so I just wanted to make sure. He is still stressed and hiding.. not the wet pet like the stories I have heard. Hopefully that changes.. BTW I kinda like Redas lol, guessing it's the 13yr old boy in me that giggles everytime he hears uranus.
