Midevil x FH?

Has anyone had their male midas/red devil pair up with their female FH and successfully breed?

It looks like mine are starting to pair up and I'm curious to see what the offspring would look like if it ever happens.

ohho snap crackle pop. I was gonna do this breeding and the pair is together right now shaking and going around. But after these pics Im seeing they look too much like Midas. Im gonna withdraw on this project.
 
nice! Definitely some interesting surprises.

I'm just happy they two are co-existing in the tank together. In the past I haven't had much success with either RD's or FH's and tankmates.
 
So, is this process of pairing fairly aggressive? The 2 are obviously pairing up but every so often the two fish will nip and pick at each other. It kind of looks like rough flirting?

I'm just curious because the when I came home yesterday the FH "looked" beat up a little but she was acting fine and didn't looked stressed at all. And the FH picks at the midevil pretty hard as well. Nonetheless, when they aren't picking at each other, they are inseparable.
