Midnight crayfish trap..... SUCCESS

You might remember a lonnnnng time ago I posted about making a crayfish trap like Midnight's. I had it in the water for maybe two months and I finally caught something...

Woot! This is an American Signal Crayfish right? It was pretty pissed and climbed right out of the bottle. I couldn't kill it it was way too cool so I just dropped it back. Excuse the phone pics they are a bit blurry.

I've caught a crab on a bait and hook, Can't see why you can't catch a cray.

While carp fishing on a small river, the crayfish would constantly devour our bait. Tough to catch with a hook too, as they don't eat the whole thing, they eat it one small piece at a time.
