midus vs oscar

so today walked into pet store saw a huge midas maybe red devil maybe a good 14-15inchs easy and mean as hell
was a nice white yellow huge hump on head
was thinking of trading in my 9inch oscar for it
but dont no if this fish will co-exist with my 21inch fire eel and pleco
they were only asking 40 for it which i think is awesome for such a huge fish and mean!!!!

Nope, I agree, the midus won't get along with the eel and if it's as mean as you said it will probably go after your pleco. It's up to you but I would just keep the oscar. You would probably have to get rid of your eel and pleco but if you want it that bad then go for it.

A Midas that size might be pretty old, your oscar has a long life ahead of him.

If you get the Midas, it needs to be alone. The Oscar sounds like it's doing great as is. Totally up to you!

(But if it were me, I'd get the Midas)
