Well last night we got smoked with a huge storm cell producing wind gust up around 90mph. Hail, Rain, Lightning, and wind were crazy last night here in Southern Indiana. My power went out at around 9pm. After 30mins I went to my shop and grabbed my generator to keep my 6 tanks running. My ray tanks were of course the 1st ones to get power lol.

Power came back on at 4am for us. SOOO we survived the outage thank god!

I am just curious.... any other ray keepers around here get hit by that storm last night? I know it started in like Colorado and came all the way here to IN. thats why im curious to see how every1 our here made out with their rays
 
Got some serious snow/sleet slush here...... Close to record amounts for this late in the year. Think we only had 40 mph gusts though.

Lost power for a little bit but nothing to worry about. Just cranked the drips up and forgot about it.

I have a buddy doing windmills out in Colorado and he said it wasn't bad out where he's at.
 
It started in the south on Sunday night, we had a 60-75 mph wind gust that split the tree in my front yard in half, pushed my full size grill (with a full propane tank) off the deck, It pushed off the grill about 10 feet.

My son little tikes cubical toy that's about 5 feet wide and tall got pushed around 30 feet from the deck to the fence.

The wind was so strong, ALL the windows on the west side were pushed against and rain water leaked all over the window seal

Somebody's pissed off :)
 
Fortunately, these storms lose a lot of strength by the time they get here. We did have a couple thunder storms rolls through this morning, but nothing strong. Northern Maine is in for 6-10" of snow.
 
crazy. well still waiting to hear from Jeffers.... he lives 20mins from me. and he didnt have a generator, and he lives in the STICKS!
 
i live in downtown indiana and we didnt get hit that bad
 
yes i did we got slammed by ti it broke 3 shutters off our house 2 trees got hit by lightning and the power was out for a day lol i dont keep stigrays but my arowana tank was the first to get power with my generator LOL he is like my baby with scales

We got hit around midnight. The power went off for just a few seconds then came back on. I do have a generator just in case but luckly we didnt need it. Wind was pretty heavy, heavy rain for a bit lots of Tornado sirens going off then it was like some one turned off a switch it all stop. Crazy
