Its not official yet, but I think I may be getting him. The lady had a child so she is giving away the adult male iguana and a 5x6x2 cage. I am so excited. If anyone has some advice, or words of wisdom it is appreciated.

Green Iguanas are in my opinion the most responsive and rewarding reptile there is out there. No two iguanas are the same each has there own personalities. Watch humidity levels and soak him often to keep him well hydrated for his longevity. A varied high nutritious diet high in calcium and low in phosphorus. Animal protein is not essential and should be kept low. A treat at best. Sun light is keen an in absence A high quality UV bulb combined with multiple basking bulbs to form a hot zone not a hot spot. Good luck!!!
