Hello Tommrow I am going to be getting a silverdollar/s to accompany my lonely 4-5'' Silverdollar. I am going to go to my favorite lfs. Now which should I buy 3 1-2'' or 1 5''er. I am thinking of getting should bigger ones.

I would get all of them. They are schooling fish and they like to be in groups. I have 5 red hooks personally and they are always together.

I wish I had the $$$ to. I want some silverdollars for easter..........a bunch lol..:):):)
 
Yer , buy more than one , buy as many as you can , as many as your tank can hold , they are schooling fish and are better in large groups , they will feel/ be safer and happier in them selfs if you can get a large school of them .

Well today I got the last 3'' silverdollar in the lfs. So in total I now have 2 silverdollars. The silverdollar I had before went crazy and started to shoal with this guy when I put him in. Pics to come asap!
 
Pictures please , i am hoping to get about 7 maybe more Silver Dollars soon when i move my Silver Awo' out of the tank to go in with my Cichlids .

I would love to see some pictures , give me some sort of idea on what i would expect from them when i get some .

Alright I will take and post pics when I have some time. Hopefully tonight or tommrow.
 
I love my SD's. I have 7 and they all school together. You'll enjoy them even more when you have several together. :)

I enjoy the 2 SD'S now they like to shoal together. I am definalty getting more next time I get some money.
