Hey guys any recommendation?any types of cool and rare exotic fishes that i could keep?Currently,i'm keeping 1 peacock bass 2 temensis 1 Rtc + 1 Tiger shovelnose catfish hybrid and 1 raphael catfish in my approximately 48 gallons tank? I might want to change the types of fishes i'm keeping, not confirmed yet though. Just wanna know any nice and cool fishes out there.

I don't blame you. every few years I will change what I keep or geta new tank or something. you should browse the various subforums on the site, specifically the media lounges and see what you like.

FH's
american cichlids
african cichlids
bichirs
catfish
planted community or peaceful south american cichlids and other fish
biotope tank (asian, south american, mangrove etc)

you have so many options, is there any particulat "fish discipline" you wish to follow?

He has tonnes of options with a 48g. if you read what I listed quite a few of those suggestions would work. No point being all negative on him, wouldn't you rather he got those fish out of a 48 and something more manageable in there instead?

I might wanna keep predatory fishes. I know my tank's too small but i might sell them off sooner or later.

Senegal bichir would do fine in that tank, they are active and get along with eachother. eat just about anything including sinking or floating pellets in some cases.

Get a snakehead; those suckers can survive out of water for a good while, just in case he jumps out of the tank. :3

I'd definitely re-home the shovelnose. Puffers are NOT community fish, to nix that.

South American Puffers are community with eachother. the saltwater puffer fish are all great community fish too.
Pufferpunk although probably the most knowledgable online presence on puffers tends to give unrealistic and exagerated information on keeping them.
