One of my RBPS it likes to lay on its side. Its almost as if it is loking up.
It is the only one who dose this, day in and out. I have saw them do this when I tryed
to net some to sell, but this one thinks its normal,"IS IT".:drool: :drool:
 
uuummmm.... not really, like u said, ive known them to do this when in seriously stressing situations. but never seen as a daily behavioral pattern.
 
ive had fish do this that had one eye bit out, is he maybe blind in the eye he puts to the ground? Ive even had them put there good eye to the ground when i was cleaning tank in order to "hide"..... funny stuff man, they lay there and quiver with there good eye to the ground!

Dude I gotta tell you...speaking of might be retarded. You have to learn how to type. That might be on the top 5 of the poorest writen threads I've ever read. took me three or four times to make any sence out of it. Thats bad.
Your fishes behavior is not normal. What size tank is he in with what kind of filtration? What are the tank's water parimeters. How many tankmates does he have? What size is he? What size is he compared to his tankmates? How old is he and how long have you had him. What do you feed? Show us pictures. and throw in anything else that could be helpful.

my water is MINT COND, plenty of filteration.
Its eys are both the same,LOOK very helthey. I wander if it is a mating call or somthing
like it wants to sperm some eggs,and is showing off. I have had lots of fish and have saw show boating on their side before. This RBP just liks to stay at a tilt, Its crazy.
They are about 5 to 6 inch. I feed HIKARI Cichlid Gold. And gold fish every day.
I feed like 2 gold fish and pellets twice a day. My schole thrives and seams to be very happy, I do not have a aggreson problem , no fin nipping here.my fish seem happy
