Ok i came home today and my tiger scat is just floating around, going upside down and just barely able to swim. I have no idea whats going on. Maybe i shouldnt have but i did a WC right away(just finished it). There is a leaf fish, 10 giant danios and 2 roseline sharks in the same 55gal. tank and theyre all fine. I did an amonia test and there was a tiny touch of green but barely. I just dont get it. Hes been growing alot and doing so well im just pissed :irked: . Im thinkin it might be too late for him but does anyone have any ideas? everything was fine last night. (and before anyone says anything these are freshwater scats not brackish)

sorry to hear about you loss.i had a similar problem with my tiger scats.they were all together in one tank, then started fighting with each other, tail got chewed off, infected, and anmonia burned, finally the weakest one started swimming with no balance.what i did to fix it was to seperate them, lower current flow, pristine water, and added salt.cured really fast after that.now i have them together again with very agressive fish.instead of fighting each other, now they school and fight with the other tank mates.

How many do you have? I had 4 in the beginning then one got really mean so i moved it. The 3 that stayed together got along for awhile but then i woke up and found the smallest one dead and im pretty sure the other 2 just harrassed it to death. The one that died the other day was the only scat in that tank and i just have no idea what happened. So now im down to 2..the mean one and a smaller one. The entire thing just makes me angry/frustrated since i dont know why the one died the other day i dont know how to keep it from happening again. I just set up a bigger tank and all my tanks are going to be combined so i hope it all works out...
