Hello all I might be getting some PBASS from Nate MA and I only have kept a few a longtime ago. I forgot about them and now want to keep them. I decided to do some research. I have some ?'s for all you PBASS experts to answer. The first one will be which speices should I get?? Tem,mono, orinio,etc.... Next ? is will it be alright with my tankmates listed in sig?? What should I feed them. Also do you guys have any pics of yours??

there is a sticky in the pbass media page, tons of photos of member's bass. Species you get is really ultimately decided by how big of a tank do you have. If you have a 150 is that 72 x 18 or 48 x 24? Do you have any bigger tanks? Most pbass get 18" minimum so you would really be better off with a 72 x 24 tank like a 180/220. With that in mind I think you could look at mono/ocell/hybrid/orino (if you can find them)/kelberi (same thing with orino). I think an 8 foot long tank would be better in the long run as your ID sharks will get quite large not to mention the arowana. You've got some tankbusters on your hands and getting pbass is only going to add to the argument you need a bigger tank.

Yes I plan on getting a 225 later on down the road. How big do the hybrid PBASS get?

Yes I know I want to grow them out first.

the hybrids get around 20"+/-, I too agree you might want to get another tank first as your tank right now is pretty well stocked. I'm not gonna lecture you but I think you realize how big aro's get, a 220 isn't big enough for one when you're talking a 35"+ fish

Yes aros take for ever to get 35''..

get whichever species you like.
care is pretty much the same for all of them...check out the threads.
any care info needed just shoot.
