As much as I don't want to I may have to get rid of the FH. It has become a real bastard towards it's tankmates in the past week or so. Does the tempermant of these fish get worse as they get bigger? I was told some are pretty docile and some are nasty. Mine seemed docile for the first 2 months and now it seems to have done a 180. Does the sex of the fish matter in terms of aggression? These are recent pix with the exception of the bottom 2. If I have to sell what would be a fair price? Can you guys tell if this is male or female? I'd say it is about 4"-4.5" not including fins.
These pix suck in person it has way more color and more noticable hump on it's head.
Thanks in advance.

well that is a sexy beast. I'm not sure myself how much flowerhorns sell for :(

It all depends on location. You are right that some are docile and others are the devil. I got one here at 10" for 20 bucks but that was a steal. JDman has one about as big as yours that is the spawn of satan. sell it for what you think its worth, but make sure it gets a good home.....that is an awesome looking fish!

Well it is gone. Had to give it to the LFS. Didn't want to take the time and try sell it for short money. Man it was a great looking fish but that was one Flowerhorn who would not accept tankmates.

that stinks! Its a beautiful looking flowerhorn. So what do you plan on getting now? or anything?

Not sure ash. The tank is pretty stocked up as it is. I have a reg Green Terror, a Royal Green terror, Datnoid,Parrot, Fire Eel and a spotted pleco. All are pretty small right now and are in a 75. I might get rid of the parrot due to the fact they get pretty ugly when they get bigger.
