Milk snakes.

I have had a bunch of species - they are as a general rule hesistant to bite, slithery, move in quick spurts, and prefer small food items.
Some max out at 3 feet, others 6 feet- so as a general rule, they are an excellent "small snake" to keep. They also do well in not-so-hot temps. which is nice.

Sounds good, i've kept corns before,a nd now have a ball python. So i've already got all the gears. So i may be getting one in a few weeks.

Yeah - they are comparable in size to a cornsnake - a bit larger sometimes - If you have a choice, get a calm one, and also be sure to check for KINKS along the back/tail. Milksnakes seem to frequently have these due to inbreeding these days.

i had one, great fun and never bit me.

The best part about milksnakes is that they come in all different sizes and girth!

Black Milksnakes are the coolio...

Don't forget to post pix when you get it boggy :D
