Anyone know or has experience with the moment this Puffer
requires salt water?
My Chelonodon Patoca is 4" and I'm thimking maybe
its better for its health.

Yes, they are a marine species that visit BW areas. Keep in SW conditions.

BW areas, I'm guessing thats estuaries?

What I found about this specific puffer is not much.
Born in fresh water, gladually migrating to salt water, sometimes adults are found in freshwater lakes, but always near salt water.

Gonna find myself a hobby, cause I think I just answered my own d**n question.

Mine started as fresh and moved to brackish at maybe thumb size. then salt at maybe 4 inches . He did well in all of them and survived for me for about 2 years. Great fish but aggressive. He stood his ground against a porcupine puffer. I bought a soapdish crab at one time thinking he would leave it alone since it was bigger than him. He bit through the side of its shell before it hit the ground.
