I currently have a 125 setup with 2 ac110s runnin on it. Both ac110s have new carbon filters in it and one of my ac110s is due for a foam insert. It has black background, black substrate, and fake plants. My fish stock is a 5in clown knife, 5in LMB, 4in albino tiger red oscare, 5in tiger red, and 2 plecos
( 3in and 7in). My tank has been competely cycled and up and runnin for about 4 or 5 months now and I noticed it being milky cloudy all of a sudden...WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! I added the new ac110 about 2 weeks ago to fix the problem and it hasnt really done much.... Water params are also good soo i dont know whats goin on, any help will be greatly appreciated!

plecos and Oscars are messy they create enormous amounts of waste in a closed system....What does your test kit say? AC110's are a great mech filter however I feel they fall short in bio capacity.....

change water on a regular basis and aerate the water..the bacteria bloom will consume O2...until tank stabilizes again

2 AC110'S wont handle it when the fish are at this size? since adding the second ac110 i hardly see any waste on the bottom...test kit says ammonia-0, nitrite-0 and nitrate- 5 so i dont think this is the problem

Bacterial bloom, I think. Do water changes and feed less.

BTW, whats an LMB?

Its Definitely a bacteria bloom. My brother just had one his tank has been running for about three months. It was not to bad at first then it got bad took every hiding spot/plants out of the tank did a gravel vac includeing a 50% WC and 2 days later it was clear.
