  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wroung section. but yes a 20g "tall" is good for them not sure how many though.

Oh my bad I thought they were central american. Thanks for the response.

they are but there is a section fo discus an angles.

They aren't Central American, they are South American. A 20gT would do for a single angelfish, I suggest and additional 10g after tht for eatch fish. 30g for 2 fish, 40g for 3 etc. etc.

There is, moved it for you.

For some angels 20G high is fine, it is ok for two Pterophyllum scalare, but not for Pterophyllum altum, Pterophyllum leopoldi will do fine in a 20 gallon as well (this is of course with high maintenance).

a 20g tall *might* be enough for a single standard angel. veils and superveils get much taller. . . my superveil is almost a foot tall at less than a year old. i would recommend a 29g for one or a mated pair, and then jump to a 75 or 90 for 6-7 of them or more. you could get away with 4 in a 55, but i wouldn't recommend it. a larger group will allow for aggression to be spread out among the fish, whereas with 3-4 fish only, the mated pair (and you will get a pair) will constantly chase the others.
