min tank size for clown knife?

Nope. Go for 300 gallons, IMO.

not everything you read is true. I've seen in three foot Cks in captivity, althogh two feet in the norm. and even if it only got 18 inches, in a ninety gallon, that'd be really, pretty cramped.

i'd shoot for more of like a 200 gallon for a CK.
they get over 30".
