Min tank size?

I got a 5" black piranha what would be the min tank size for it?

I wouldnt go any smaller then a 55 a 75 would be better.

You can get away with a smaller tank now but if your planning on keeping him his whole life I wouldn't keep him in anything smaller then 180 gallons blacks usually max out at around 18 to 21 inches in home aquarium and a 180 is 2 feet wide so he will be okay in that and just keep good filtration and you should be fine but bigger tank is always better but a 180 should be okay for him his full life

75 -90. A 55 would be crap and ur better off w/ a 40B.

I think the best size is a 90gal, pretty big but not a waste for 1 fish!

Well I unfortionately need to put him in my 40breeder for now it has a monster eheim canister on it but how long can he stay in there I kno they grow super slow but he don't even got red eyes yet and still has spots any ideas? Thanks for all the feed back!

Well i would not go smaller than the 55. That being said i would get the biggest tank I could afford.

A 90 seems a little small for a fish that can grow to 14+ inches.
