Min tank size?

Ok wife has falling in love with Dat's and now we are up to 5. Guess it's time to start planning a tank build I have time since they are only 2 inches right now.Looking for input on what is the smallest you guys think is best for full grown Indo's.

Check the datanoid care sheet sticky and datnoids grow quite slow like a couple inches a year so you don't have to worry about them now

Yeah it just says 180 but i was taking that as for 1 not 5

Minimum tank size for a fully grown IT.

in my opinion, 4ft(L) by 2.5ft(W) by 2ft(H).

Have seen ITs growing up to about 18inches and still growing.

At least 300 and great filtration for 5 giant indos. I would not go any smaller than that.

Thanks The plan is for now to let them live in the 125 till they out grow it then move to the 300 but was not sure that will be big enough for them.Been looking at doing a 800 or bigger just not sure how big we want to go.

I think a fully grown IT will need at least a 6ft length 3ft depth and 2.5ft height, that's for one, they do get to a good 20"+

Go for the 800 gallon if you can. That would be a lot better for them.
