ok, my dad is opening another factory in the US so hell be shipping an aorrow from china to bring here. wats the minunmum size tank for
1-arrow silver
1-male flowerhorn
1-tiger oscar
2-blood parrot?

What type of arowana will he be shipping here? Depending on the species the minimum tank size can be quite large.

i agree that a single aro needs a 180. so for all those fish id say around 240g

the minimum tank size for the arow is 180 alone. Since he will hang up top the rest of the fish should do fine at the bottom.

If it is a silver or black aro it will end up needing a larger tank then a 180g. If it is other then a silver or black it will not "hang up top" but may not outgrow the 180g. Then there is the question of whether or not the arowana is even legal in the U.S.

I agree, I don't know aro's at all but figured they all are going to want at least 2' to turn around. I personally would never keep a aro unless I had either a 240 or 300+. I was wondering about the whole importing one too. I know some aro's are illegal but I don't know jack about them..

300+ im sure they could be kepted alive in something smaller.. but for them to want to be alive/enjoy being alive i would go atleast 500 gallons
