Hi to all.:). How do you remove water marks and mineral deposits from aquarium glass ? I use groundwater from an artesian well that has lots of minerals like iron. Is their a chemical that is suitable ? :help2:THANKS>

Vinegar. I used Pledge and it worked well for me.

A razor or a 1000grit sand paper.

Probably best to empty tank first though :D
If he was talking about the outside glass, then just make sure it doesn't penetrate inside the tank. If he is talking about cleaning the whole tank (not set up yet), then he can use oxalic acid and just make sure to wash the tank thoroughly to remove any residues.

vinegar . razor blade (With safety)

razor blade and water

If the tank is filled and has livestock you can use RO/DI water with a napkin, cloth, what have you, mineral deposits will come off the tank. The RO/DI water has so few minerals in it that it pulls them off the glass. If it's not comming right off, use a razor (plastic razor for acrylic) and heat the water up. Just not too hot.
