I googled your question and all I could come up with was viniger and water but be carefull what you wipe with as acrylic scratchs easy which i'm sure you know but i gave it a little thought don't quote me if I'm right or wrong but I used to buff out fresh painted cars and older dull cars but never buffed a tank but sure its the same way if not easier maybe someone can suggest some sort of compound to use or buff kit for that..

i just filled up my 180 gallon acrylic aquarium for the first time yesterday. now it has all these mineral deposits on the inside. i tried to clean them off but they arent coming off. what should i do?
are you just seeing old deposits or are they brand new ???

without fish and water in the tank vinegar should dissolve them....i would not scrub in fear of scratching the plexi

take a step back from the tank and then take another picture.. or turn yer macro setting on (the lil tulip lookin icon.. its for focusing up close)

and if you just filled it yesterday.. are you sure those are not just air bubbles? silly question but it happens..

Is it a brand new tank? if so... there shouldnt be any mineral deposits or anything.
